COVID-19

COVID-19

To our patients and families – we are excited to welcome you back! While some things may look a little different at West Alabama Family Practice & Sports Medicine, one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to providing the highest quality care to our patients.

We wish to express our appreciation to all of our employees for their efforts and continued diligence as we face these challenges. Our top priority remains the safety of our patients, their families and our staff.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PROTECT YOU

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have redoubled our efforts to provide a safe environment for you and our employees by closely following the governor’s and CDC guidelines. As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 situation, we are:

  • Decreasing the number of visitors with a one-guest policy

  • Eliminating chairs in the waiting room for social distancing

  • Patients can check in for appointments when they arrive by calling us at (205) 339-0171 and then stay in their vehicles until it’s time to come inside

  • We are also offering telehealth visits; please tell us when scheduling your appointment if you’d prefer this option
